Women, Prayers and the Quran
Response to a question by a lady whether it is
permissible or not to offer prayers (salaat) during the monthly
menstruation period as she could not find any such prohibition in the
Quran.
The answer is NO, it is not allowed, as the condition for offering
prayers (salaat) is cleanliness (taharat) as stipulated in the Quran.
