WITH THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST BENEFICIENT
AND THE MOST MERCIFUL

About 8Years ago, an
internationally acclaimed Islamic scholar an honoured on high
governmental level in a number of countries said that there is “SHIRK”
in my name “ILLIAS SUTTAR”
because the word “ABDUS” is not
mentioned before the name SUTTAR.
When I was informed about this, my response was that the name SUTTAR is nowhere mentioned in the Holy Quran and the name SUTTAR is not included in the 99 names of Allah. So why should we say ABDUS SUTTAR instead of only SUTTAR.
One well known Mufti who is my very good friend also was surprised. He brought a copy of the Holy Quran and read all the 99 names of Allah, and then agreed that 99 names donot include the name SUTTAR.
Most of the people who hear this factual position are surprised because they all thought that SUTTAR is the name of Allah.
Today I thought why not surprise some of you also. |
