THE HOLY QURAN:

REMEMBERING THE POOR AT THE TIME OF INHERITANCE

The Noble Quran printed in Saudi Arabia:(Surat-ul-Nisa 4, Verses 7&8)

7) There is a share for men and a share for women from what is left by parents and those nearest related, whether the property be large or small- a legal share.

8) And when the relatives and the orphans and the poor are present at the time of division give them out of the property, and speak to them words of kindness and justice.

The Holy Quran translated by S.Abul Ala Maududi :(Surat-ul-Nisa 4, Verse 8)

8) And if the people of the family, orphans and the poor be present at the division of the inheritance, give them also something out of it and speak to them kind words.

The Holy Quran translated by Allama Abdullah Yusuf Ali (Surat-ul-Nisa 4, Verse 8)

8) But if at the time of division other relatives, or orphans, or poor are present , feed them out of the (property) and speak to them words of kindness and justice.

OBSERVATION

The above 2 Verses clearly order to remember the poor and orphans at the time of inheritance. But almost every body has forgotten this order. These Verses also highlight the great regard which Allah has for the orphans and the poor.
