NUH WAS NOT ADAM SAANI
There is a popular belief among Muslims that Hazrat Nuh (P.H). is Adam Sani, meaning thereby that he is father of all human beings after the event of flood in the time of Nuh.
The Jews and the Christians also have the faith that the 3 sons of Nuh (P.H). were the ancestors of all nations.
The Holy Quran speaks very differently.
1. According to the Holy Quran, there were some believers in the boat of Nuh (P.H). who were NOT members of the family of Nuh (P.H). The Holy Quran Surah, Hud 11 verse no. 40 says; “ We said embark therein (in the boat) of each kind two, and your family, except him against whom the word has already gone forth, AND THOSE WHO BELIEVE, and none believed except a few”
The verse is very clear that these believers were besides the family of Nuh.
2. These non-family believers in the boat of Nuh (P.H). became parents of children as the following verse of the Holy Quran shows Chapter -19 verse 58 “ these are they whom Allah hath favoured from among the prophets, of the progeny of Adam, and of them WHOM WE BARE WITH Nuh (P.H).
CONCLUSION
3. The above two verses clearly and conclusively prove that Nuh (P.H). was not the father of all future generations and therefore was not the second Adam because there were non-family believers in the boat of Nuh (P.H). who also became parents of children and grand children that constitute part of the present human race
