The Bible accuses David in these words
Extracts from Bible2 Samuel 11
Verses 2 onwards "One day , late in the afternoon David got up from his nap and went to palace roof. As he walked up there, he saw a women having a bath. She was very beautiful. (3) So he sent a messenger to find out who she was, and learnt that she was Bathsheva, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite. (4) David sent messengers to fetch her; they brought her to him and he made love to her. (14) ....David wrote a letter to Joah and sent it by Uriah. He wrote "Put Uriah in the front line, where fighting is heaviest, then retreat and let him be killed". (26) When Bathsheva heard that her husband had been killed, she mourned for him. When the time of mourning was over, David sent for her to come to the palace; she became his wife and bore him a son. But the Lord was not pleased with what David had done.
BIBLE DEFENDS DAVID
Extract from Bible 1 Kings Chapter 3 verse 14; "And if you (Solomon) obey me (God) and keep my laws and commands as your father David did, i will give you a long life".
BIBLE AGAIN DEFENDS DAVID
Extract from Bible 1 Kings Chapter 14 verse 8; "But you have not been like my servant David, who was completely loyal to me, obeyed my commands, and did ONLY WHAT I APPROVE OF".
OBSERVATION
The two extracts defending David clearly show that he did only what Allah (God) approved of. Therefore, David did not have any illegal intercourse with Bathsheva (The mother of Solomon).
Islam insists on the good character of all the Prophets. Today i salute Good News Bible through which i got such wonderful verses in support of Islam.
