Title :TODAY (MAY 26 2008)IS 100 YEARS DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF MIRZA GHULAM AHMED

WITH THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST BENEFICIENT , THE MOST MERCIFUL

Peace be upon all the Holy Prophets. If Allah wills. What Allah wills.

TODAY (MAY 26 2008)IS 100 YEARS DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF MIRZA GHULAM AHMED

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Sahib died on 26th May 1908. So 100years have been completed today.

On this day I wish to write down an article which I have been speaking about for countless number of years.

The Holy Quran says in chapter 4 verse 158 "But ALLAH Raised him(Jesus) up unto Himself".

The Ahmadis/Qadianis while explaining the above verse, the -Ahmadis say that ALLAH is present everywhere. Therefore there is no concept of God being just above. Therefore the Ahmadis say that Jesus was raised up in the sense of honour, and that he was not bodily raised towards the Presence of God.

GOD IS NOT PRESENT EVERYWHERE WITH HIS PERSON

GOD IS PRESENT EVERYWHERE WITH HIS ATTRIBUTES

In this respect it is worth noting that God is not present everywhere with His Person. Naturally God is not present with His Person in the gutter etc., but He is present with full glory and honour ABOVE. Ofcourse He is Present everywhere with His attributes. He can Hear, See and Control from any distance.

Therefore when God said that He Raised Jesus to Himself, it clearly means that Jesus was raised with his body towards the Presence of ALLAH.

SOME INTERESTING VERSES ARE BEING QUOTED HERE AS WELL AS ONE HADITH

1.   "And of mankind is he who disputes rspecting ALLAH without knowledge or guidance or a Book luminous". chapter 22 verse 8

2.   "From ALLAH, Owner of the ascending steps. (whereby) the angels ascend unto Him and also the spirit on a day whereof  the measure is fifty thousand years." chapter 70 verses 3&4

The verse clearly indicates the concept of ALLAH being far far away with His Person.

3.   " He disposes(every) affair from the Heavens unto the earth: thereafter it will ascend unto HIm in a day whereof the measure is 1000years of that which ye compute." chapter 32 verse 5

This verse speaks of "affairs" and not angels who ascend in 50,000 years.

4.   "And Pharaoh said " O chiefs! I know not any god for you except me. Wherefore, light thou for me. O Haman clay, and make me a lofty tower that I may ascend unto the God of Musa" chapter 28 verse 38

Perhaps Hazrat Musa (pbuh) might have said to Pharaoh that you are not god, but god is above. Therefore Pharaoh wanted the tower to ascend unto the god of Musa

5.   "...He (Musa) said : My Lord! show Thyself  unto me that I MAY LOOK AT THEE..     He said : You cannot see me but look at the mountain, if it stands in its place, then you will see Me. Then when The Lord unveiled His Glory unto the mount, it turned it to dust and Musa fell down thunder struck" chapter 7 verse 143

If the Lord was already present everywhere, then the mountain would turn into dust and the question of unveiling Glory on the mountain would not be important. The Lord is so bright and powerful that the mountain turns to dust. If the Lord was everywhere how could so much greenery be all around.

6.   "Jaber reported from the Holy Prophet: The inmates of paradise will remain in their enjoyment when lo! a light will flash upon them. They will raise up their heads when lo! the Lord will be nearing them from above them. He will say : Peace be upon you , O inmates of paradise. He said : And that is the verse of Almighty : Peace, a greeting from the merciful Lord(36:38)" This hadith is from Mishkat Sharif, hadith no. 52

VERY INTERESTING POINT

Many Ahmadi gentlemen are very fond of saying that Jesus is not god and he cannot remain alivefor 2000 years without food and water.

REPLY : In this respect, first of all perhaps nobody has argued that Jesus is living without food and water.

But more importantly, the christian youths slept in the cave for around 300years without food and water (chapter 18 verse 10 onwards). If 300years is possible without food and water 2000 or more years should not be a problem.
