Since I am a simple Muslim and do not belong to any sect, I am in good terms with well read people of all the sects.As a result, I have the pleasure to discuss various topics with the people of different sects. Many Deobandis, Barelvis, Ahl-e-Hadis and Shias are my friends.
Very recently I was in the house of a Shia family which is on family terms with my family. We were discussing on the Concept of ALLAH.
At first I said that ALLAH is not present everywhere with His Person. He is not in dirty places like the gutter. He is Present everywhere with his attributes. None of His 99 Names suggest that He is present everywhere with His Person. No verse of The Holy Quran says that He is everywhere with His Person.
Then one gentleman who was the brother of the lady of the house said that you can never see ALLAH. He insisted that ALLAH is simply unseeable. I questioned :"Has ALLAH ever seen Himself??" In haste he said "No ALLAH has not seen Himself."
I said to him,"Give one verse of The Holy Quran to support your statement." He could not give even one verse. I gave the following point : (Chapter7 verse143) If the mountain stands in its place, then you will see Me." So ALLAH is seeable only when we will have the power to see.
If ALLAH has not seen Himself, how is He the All-Seeing???????
