Dear Ahsan Malik,

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

I appreciate your fear of God but would like to clarify few points raised by you.

1. You have said that my Mobahilla with Mirza Tahir Ahmed was not accepted by the Ulema.

My dear Ahsan, Maulana Manzoor Ahmed Chinioti not only accepted my victory but congratulated me in 2 pages from the “Depth of His Heart”. Mufti Bashir Jamali, who is a favourite speaker in Alamgir Masjid and Riaz Masjid and Qartaba Masjid and may be hundreds of Masjids, has also expressed himself in praise of this Mubahilla in public. How may Ulemas list you want, please let me know. Ghoorba Ahle Hadis, the greatest Jamat of Ahle Hadis has not only accepted the Mubahilla but spread the news of victory in Mobahilla.

2. You have said that some scholars believe that Mohahilla was a ONE TIME EVENT reserved SOLELY for the Holy Prophet (SAW).

My dear Ahsen, Maulana Mufti Mohammad Shafi Sahib, Mufti Azam of Pakistan on page 85 of volume 2 of Maariful Quran writes:
“Aur Is mein Asal Khud Mubahisa Karney Waloan Ka Jama Hoe Kar doa Karna hey, apney Aazaa wa aqarib koe jama Karney kee Zaroorat naheen, leikeen agar jama Kiya jaey toe is say aur ahteman barh jata hey”.

In the above extract Mufti Shafi Sahib clearly says that the people engaged in dispute should he present in Mobahilla; RELATIVE OR CLOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT NECESSARY BUT IF THEY COME IT IS BETTER:

On the same page Mufti Shafi Sahib says:-  If on any topic covering TRUTH & FALSE HOOD DISPUTE DOES NOT END THROUGH ARGUMENTS, THEN THEY SHOULD GO FOR MOBAHILLA.

So Mufti Shafi Sahib also believed in PRESENT DAY Mobahilla and did not consider it a ONE TIME EVENT solely for the Holy Prophet (SAW)

3. You have said that Mobahilla involves the whole family, you have written that “I am not married, nor do I have any children”.
Dear Ahsan you don’t have to be married in order to do Mobahilla. The verse does not say your own son.

The Holy Prophet HAD NO SON and he did NOT TAKE ANY WIFE FOR MOBAHILLA. He took Hazrat Ali (RTA) and Hazrat Fatima (RTA) and Imam Hassan and Hussein (RTA). The verse refers to women and not wives. According to Mufti Shafi Sahib the verse does not mean your own DIRECT SONS (page 86 of Maariful Quran Vol. 2).

4. The verse says ‘our’ Sons,’ ‘Our’ women and ourselves. Then the verse says, let “US” earnestly pray.
So the Mubahilla involves not only the person of the Holy Prophet (SAW), but each and every Muslim who would have accompanied the Holy Prophet (SAW) would have been ACTIVELY ENGAGED in earnest prayer.

5. Hazrat Yousuf Ludhianvi offered face to face Mubahilla to Mirza Tahir Ahmed which means he supported present day Mubahilla in the ABSENCE of the Holy Prophet (SAW). Maulana Taqi Usmani circulates Maariful Quran according to which  Mubahilla can take place these days. Maulana Manzoor Ahmed Chinioti felt that Mobahilla can take place in the PRESENT TIMES. He himself kept offering Mubahilla every year.

6. If you do not want to do Mubahilla send me the address of David Wood.
I will offer some arguments to him, and if he does not agree with me, nor changes my thoughts, then I will offer to him Mubahilla.

Bishop Timothius Nasir ran away from my offer of Mobahilla. This is what the Christians of Najran did 1400 years ago.
