Jews / Christians / 120 years / Please Help Me Understand

The Torah printed by the Jews (Ref # 1) and the Bible printed by the Christians (Ref # 2), both say that people will live for a maximum period of 120 years.

BUT THE GUINNESS BOOK (REF # 3) SHOWS THAT BOTH MAN AND WOMAN HAVE LIVED FOR MORE THAN 120 YEARS.
 

1) The Torah printed by both Jews and Christians also say that Sarah lived to be 127 years old. Abraham died at ripe old age of 175 years.

2) JEWS AND CHRISTIANS, PLEASE CLARIFY THE REAL MEANING OF THIS VERSE (GENESIS 6 VERSE 3).
I feel there is room for improvement in my understanding of this verse. Please help me to understand.

3) If any Muslim or Ahmadi / Qadiani or Bahai or any learned man of any faith can help me, he is more than welcome. “Let knowledge grow from more to more”
 

Ref # 1 The Torah printed by the Jewish Publication Society:-
 Genesis 6 verse 3 : ““The Lord said, “My breath shall not abide in man for ever, since he too is flesh ; let the days allowed him be 120 years””

Ref # 2 The Good News Bible printed by Christians:-
 Genesis 6 verse 3 : ““Then the Lord said, “I will not allow the people to live for ever ; they are mortal. From now on they will live no longer than 120 years””

Ref # 3 Guinness World Records 2001 page 158 says as follows:-
 The oldest person for whose age there is irrefutable evidence was Jeanne Louise Calment of France. She was born on Feb. 21, 1875 and died in Arles, France on Aug. 4, 1997 aged 122.
 The oldest man (Shigechiyo Izumi of Isen, Japan) died at the age of 120 years, 237 days. Born on 29th June 1865, he died on 21st Feb. 1986.
