Joseph, as a kid, was put in the well by his step brothers, and Moses was put in a basket in the Nile to save his life. Both prophets had a connection with water.

Moses, as a baby, was put in the water. Then, the water parted to help him flee the Pharoah's army, the water drowned his enemy. When his people needed water, he struck the rock with his staff, and twelve springs gushed forth.

Most miracles happened, and we only hear of them. Pharoah died and his body was preserved. The Quran foretold that his body has been preserved as a symbol, 2000 years after the event, and 1300 years later, the body was discovered in 1898, for our generation to witness and believe.

God preserved Pharoah's body as a symbol for later generations, for despite all the blessings and power God had bestowed upon him, he refused to believe and submit to the will of God. God destroyed him and his entire army while they were in pursuit of a very weak opponent, who was not fighting, but only fleeing from them.
