With the Name of Allah, The Compassionate, the
Merciful. If Allah Wills. What Allah Wills.
Peace Be Upon The Holy Prophets.
Please Read the Following Verse:-
"O ye who believe! When you stand up for the prayer wash your face and hands unto the elbows, and wipe your heads, and wash your feet unto the ankles."
"And if you be polluted, then purify yourselves."
" and if ye be ailing, or on a journey, or One Of You Comes From The Privy, Or You Have Touched Women And You Find Not Water, then betake yourself to clean earth and wipe your faces and hands therewith." (5th Surah Al-Maidah verse No.6).
During discussions many times you will hear that according to the Holy Quran you are Supposed to do fresh ablution for every time of prayer because in the beginning of the verse it is written ““ O YE WHO BELIEVE! WHEN YOU STAND UP FOR THE PRAYER WASH YUR FACE and hands unto the elbows, and wipe your heads, and wash your feet unto the ankles”””.
However, the end of the verse clarifies the situation by stating that fresh ablution is needed only in four cases:-
If you are ailing.
If you are on a journey.
if you come from the privy
If you have touched women.
If after offering morning prayer, you are not included in any of the above four points, you may offer the zohar prayer without performing fresh ablution.
(2 Important Notes):-
1) The above observation is only according to the Holy Quran.
2) Hadis Shareef Imposes more conditions like going to sleep and emission of Gas.
IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT IF ANY PERSON SUFFERS FROM FREQUENT EMISSION OF GAS, HE HAS NO NEED FOR FRESH ABLUTION. Even if he sleeps, he has no need for fresh Ablution. Of course he has to perform Fresh Ablution for Fajr, again Fresh Ablution for Zohar, and likewise for Asar, Maghrib & Isha.
